NRRA's Diamond Jubilee ''The 30th Annual Northeast Recycling Conference and Expo'' will be the one conference to go to for all things recycling. During this intensive, nationally recognized, and industry leading, two-day event, you'll learn the history of waste stream management and recycling over the last 30 years, today's best practices, and look toward the exciting future of the industry.
Back by popular demand, we're excited to have the ''Conference within a Conference'' School Recycling Conference sponsored by NH the Beautiful and NRRA that will run all day on Tuesday, June 7th. This is a great opportunity to reach out to students, teachers and administrators at all levels, and will include workshops specifically for school recycling programs throughout NH and the Northeast! The annual School Recycling Club Awards will be presented at the mid-day ceremony.
Last year¹s conference was a huge success with keynote speaker Kim Holmes sharing her insight and knowledge of E-waste and Plastics. This year the keynote address will feature two of the founders of NRRA, Liz Bedard and Fred Moody, to start us off with a valuable ³I was there² look at the founding of NRRA and recycling in the Northeast. Following will be over 15 separate workshops on Monday and Tuesday focusing on today¹s best practices.
Monday evening will feature a recycling/resource recovery retrospective in the exhibit hall. After the noontime School Recycling Awards presentations, the conference will wrap up with a plenary session for all to attend on Tuesday that will look into the future cutting edge technology and trends of recycling and waste stream management. Top industry professionals will share their knowledge, expertise and insight.
This Northeast Recycling Conference & Expo is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in recycling and waste reduction to come together for two days of discovery of new technologies, to exchange ideas, share philosophies, and further promote waste reduction efforts. It consists of interactive, educational workshops on all aspects of the recycling and solid waste industry.
The Expo area will host over 60 vendors who typically include; equipment manufacturers, recycling facilities, end mills, environmental consultants, engineering firms, recycling suppliers and other industry specific non-profits.
2011 Conference Partners: Association of Vermont Recyclers, Earth Share of New England, New Hampshire the Beautiful, Northern New England SWANA, and MassRecycle.
Don¹t miss out on your chance to be part of this milestone conference.
Sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to register early before the Exhibit Hall completely fills, and speakers should submit their abstracts ASAP to insure consideration.
