We are representing the KSBA - Kuta Small Business Association (Asosiasi Usaha Kecil Kuta). Based on Bali, Indonesia our main goals are to assist in the general recovery and a community based development of Bali as well as promoting tourism and trade. We are a no-profit and non-government organization and our activities and operational costs are covered by our members through yearly membership fees. On our list for this year we have following projects: Kuta Quality Assurance Program Kuta Carnival of Life - a month long festival from September 11th - October 12th Assisting in the process of a memorial at the site of the tragedy last year on October 12th KSBA - Website for organizational use Wireless Community Network in the greater Kuta area between the Desa Adats, government offices, and NGO's or public sector, for community based development projects Bali External Trade Promotion Organization Especially for the 'Kuta Carnival of Life' we are now looking for support from all sectors, such as press, trade or industry, foreign governments and NGO's and individuals. A fast flow of exchange of information and high motivation in terms of collaboration are essential for us to create KSBA and therefore we will be committed to it and will reply any request or question within 24h. Our association is structured as a board and projects are carried out by committees. A healthy mixture between Balinese, Indonesian and expatriates enable us to quickly access the local community (Banjars, Desa Adat's) and to network national and international. As we are still a young organization we kindly appreciate any support to establish a fast network of information, contacts (press, NGO's, governments, business) and hope on the other side to be able to assist you as a local (Bali) mediator, facilitator or host.
